On April 16, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at our Grassroots – Danforth location we will be hosting a book signing for Tim Flannery’s Here on Earth: A Natural History of the Planet (HarperCollins).

Here on Earth is Flannery’s first major release since The Weather Makers. It explores the evolution and sustainability of life on our planet, in a manner that is easy to understand for all readers.

Flannery points out how the successes of our species have lead to the negative effects on Earth’s ecosystems, potentially resulting in our downfall. He argues that in present time we’re equipped to explore our true relationship with the planet which our futures depend on.
